Job summary

DPD UK is recruiting an LGV Driver for the Goole operation. You will move bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers, using a modern fleet and GPS tools to keep the network running smoothly.

Working Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly, with a base rate of £16.35 per hour plus a £2.72 night-rate premium (18:00–06:00) and enhanced overtime rates. A valid UK Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph card are required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• 12+ months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of UK roads and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide LGV collections and deliveries.
• Manage trailer swaps and live loading/unloading.
• Use GPS and tachographs to stay route-efficient and compliant.
• Represent DPD professionally to dispatchers and customers nationwide.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and maintain safety.
