Job summary

DPD Group is seeking a reliable HGV Driver to join our UK team based in Manor Royal. You’ll operate a modern fleet, perform national collections and deliveries, and ensure on-time service for customers across the country.

You’ll navigate using GPS and digital tachographs, follow safety-first procedures, and maintain professional relationships with dispatchers and clients. We offer a 40-hour week, night shifts, and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• Resourceful problem-solver who can work under pressure and hit deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Move bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers.
• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries to HGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage routes and maintain 100% compliance.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.
