Hours: 37 hours per week
Responsibilities include driving both skip (lugger) and multi-lift vehicles for the collection, loading/unloading, and transportation of containers (skips, boxes, and compactors) from specified locations to treatment facilities. When no driving duties are available, manual labouring duties will be required.
There may also be occasional requirements for operating heavy plant and HGV vehicles within the disposal section.
Applicants should possess an LGV/HGV driving licence C&E, a valid Driver’s Certificate of Professional Competence, and a valid Tachograph driver card. Experience in vehicle maintenance, routine checks, loading techniques, and manual handling is also required.
