Qualifications

  • Preferred 2 years driving experience and Forklift Counterbalance licence.

Your Role

As a Driver working for Kuehne + Nagel (Government and Defence), you have an opportunity to deliver excellent service to our customers through hard work and dedication that is vital to providing industry leading service levels. Your Responsibilities
  • Complying with all relevant legislation and agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment and consistent quality standards.
  • Maintaining and promoting a positive image of Kuehne + Nagel Government and Defence with safe and high driver standards and positive driver behaviours.
  • Following all delivery, collection and returns procedures, maintaining and managing company equipment, and being responsible for the security of the vehicle & load at all times.
  • Reporting vehicle defects and ensuring that the defect is documented, complying with Driver’s regulations & Working Time Directive in line with the O License legislation and Company procedures.
  • In addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, where appropriate training is provided.
  • Ensuring all documentation is completed as per company procedure.
  • Operating a FLT or other MHE as trained and when required.
  • Following all housekeeping tasks as required.
  • Working Monday to Friday with flexibility as working overtime & nights out may be required.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Must hold a current class C+E licence.
  • Preferred ADR Class 1-9 – Less 7.
  • Preferable to hold a valid Forklift Counterbalance licence.
  • Basic numeracy and conversational English language skills.
  • Hold a valid driver qualification card.
  • Preferred 2 years driving experience.
