Anglian Water Services at Whitlingham is seeking an LGV Day Driver to transport waste products between our water recycling sites. The role offers early start times (4am–5am) and a rotating 3-week shift pattern, with average 12-hour shifts and overtime opportunities.
You will need a Class 1 LGV licence, CPC, and proven LGV driving experience, plus a commitment to safety and compliance. The package includes private health care, a pension, 25 days’ annual leave, and flexible working options.
Hourly rate starting from £19.96, depending on skills and progression + overtime available Fuel and performance bonus available Permanent, Full-time

As part of our commitment to safety and performance, this role is subject to drug and alcohol testing. Candidates must be willing to undertake testing prior to employment and may be subject to random testing throughout their time with us. A routine driver assessment will also be required before starting.

As an LGV Driver in our Operational Logistics team, you'll play a vital role in transporting sewage-related by-products from our water recycling sites to various destinations including treatment works, energy centres, and agricultural land.
Valid Class 1 LGV Licence ( manual ) (C+E)
Fully completed CPC
Proven LGV driving experience, ideally in a similar industry
Strong commitment to safety and compliance
Ability to work at height and pass occupational health checks
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to meet the demands of an essential service
