LGV Driver - Class 1 - Leicestershire

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced LGV Driver Class 1 to join our friendly team.

Role Specific Responsibilities

1. Basic requirements as identified in the RHA Professional Drivers Handbook
2. Drive to a safe standard, considering the size of the vehicle
3. Keep within the speed limits for the type and size of the vehicle you are driving
4. Ensure that vehicle daily checks are completed and that any defects are reported
5. Report any issues and collect all paperwork from the Traffic Office
6. Carry out deliveries in accordance with the planned route, contacting the Traffic Office immediately if any issues arise that impact your delivery schedule
7. Contact the Traffic Office when all deliveries have been made for instructions on collections
8. Return all paperwork to the Traffic Office at the end of each shift
9. Wear the supplied uniform and correct PPE for each task as required by the Health & Safety Executive. Minimum requirements are Safety Boots and Hi-Viz jacket/vest

What we need from you

1. Class 1 Driving Licence
2. Driver CPC qualification card
3. Completed required DCLC training hours
4. Previous multi-drop experience
5. Excellent customer-facing skills
6. Good knowledge of UK geography
7. Confidence to problem solve
8. Integrity and professionalism
