Job description

Your Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure that consignments are delivered to and collected from customer premises on time and in full. All consignments are handled and moved safely, comply with all relevant legislation, and in accordance with company policy & procedures. Making deliveries and collections throughout the UK. However, you may occasionally be required to undertake other duties as needed to fulfill operational requirements. This may involve work away from home or at another location for a short period.

Your Responsibilities
  • Operate a van, rigid or artic, to deliver and collect products to/from the end customer as required.
  • Ensure all vehicles in your responsibility are safe, clean, and presentable.
  • Maintain professional standards at all times, representing KN to customers and the public.
  • Maintain the good reputation of the company.
  • Scan all consignments on and off your vehicle and provide POD and POC using a handheld terminal.
  • Complete duties following department procedures and processes.
  • Comply with civil law and the Highway Code when driving company vehicles.
  • Report issues to management that may impact the route, other drivers, or customers.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Valid Category B, C+E Driving licence (essential).
  • Valid ADR Training Certificate - Categories 1-9 excluding 7 (preferable).
  • Current Drivers CPC.
  • Customer delivery experience (preferable).
  • Experience with the Military may be advantageous.
  • Enthusiasm for the business and the role's importance to the customer.
  • Respectful attitude.
  • Accountability for your actions.
