Qualifications

• Current LGV license required.
• Good geographical knowledge and physical fitness are essential.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Distribution team as an LGV Driver at our Hams Hall site.

The purpose of this role is to facilitate the Company’s delivery strategy by driving a Company LGV livered delivery vehicle, operating to high standards of professionalism and safety set out by Forterra.

An LGV Driver is also a Company representative and plays a critical role in our first-class Customer Service offering, being one of the initial points of contact for our business.

The role involves climbing and manual handling, so good physical fitness is essential.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

• Comply with LGV Drivers Hours Regulations
• Ensure compliance with Goods Vehicle Operator Licensing regulations
• Follow all relevant legislation, including the Road Traffic Act
• Adhere to all Health & Safety legislation and Company policies
• Complete deliveries as instructed
• Communicate any issues to relevant parties
• Drive fuel-efficiently and safely
• Average of 2 nights out per week
• Perform any other relevant duties as requested by management

About You:
