Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an LGV Driver to operate LGV vehicles (front and back loaders) across trade waste routes in Bargeddie. The role involves outdoor work on a Monday–Friday schedule, with early start times and overtime opportunities.

You will need a valid LGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph card, and experience with drivers' hours regulations. Knowledge of waste-management practices is advantageous, and independent working is essential.

Qualifications

• Full, valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Previous Trade Waste or waste management experience (desirable/essential depending on depot).
• Able to work independently and use initiative.
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles (front and back loader) to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Work outdoors using your own initiative to complete collection routes.
• Adhere to health & safety procedures and tachograph rules.
