Job summary

Biffa is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift to service trade waste customers. You will drive LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, in a single-person crew, starting at 04:00 and finishing around 13:30. Overtime may be available as needed.

This role offers outdoor work, independence, and the chance to contribute to the local environment by ensuring timely waste collection and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid full UK Cat C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card where required for the role.
• Good understanding of road safety and drivers' hours regulations.
• Commitment to safe working practices and vehicle checks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Previous commercial driving experience is desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front/back loaders to collect and empty trade waste bins.
• Work as part of a single-person crew outdoors with start 04:00 and finish 13:30.
• Overtime available.
• Deliver reliable service and maintain vehicle checks.
