Booker Group plc, UK’s leading food & drink wholesaler, is recruiting LGV Class 2 drivers for Best Food Logistics at Hoddesdon. You will join a flexible multi-drop network, delivering to outlets across the UK and upholding safety and quality standards.

Role involves 48 hours per week with shifts Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat or Wed–Sat; typical start times 01:30–06:30. Salary £49,118.68 per year inclusive of allowances, plus pension and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Essential: LGV Class 2 driving licence.
• Essential: valid CPC card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers in full, on time and as per schedule.
• Complete delivery documentation such as notes, credits and collections.
• Adhere to Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures and take responsibility for safety.
• Comply with Food Safety legislation and Chill Chain standards.
• Ensure LGV vehicle is maintained and safe, e.g. safety checks and defect book.
• Collect all empty equipment from customers.
• Cooperate with shift management and undertake other duties as directed.
