Job summary

Air Liquide UK is seeking a professional LGV Driver (Class 1 & 2) to deliver a professional and efficient service to customers. The role requires adherence to safety policies, load security, and accurate paperwork, with responsibilities including multi-drop deliveries and vehicle checks.

Candidates should hold a full clean licence, Driver CPC, ADR certification and have experience with local/regional deliveries. An FLT licence is advantageous; training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum HGV Class 2 qualification is required.
• Full Clean Driving Licence and Driver CPC card are essential.
• ADR with Core and Packages and UN Class 2 proficiency.
• FLT Licence is an advantage for handling loading equipment.

Responsibilities

• Act as an interface between customers and the company delivering professional service.
• Ensure load security at all times during transport.
• Maintain logs of working hours per Driver Hours (WTD)/Digital Tachographs.
• Collect delivery instructions and routes from appropriate sources.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, incidents and traffic violations promptly.
• Ensure daily paperwork is completed (advice notes, tachographs, fuel mileage).
• Contribute to training and compliance with safety policies.
