Rapier Employment - Part Time Class 1 Driver

Rapier Employment is working with a well-established client near Leicester who is looking for a part-time Class 1 driver to join them on an ongoing basis.

Role Details:

• Position: Class 1 Driver
• Shift Pattern: Monday & Tuesday, with occasional additional hours and Tuesday & Wednesday after bank holidays
• Start Time: 14:00

Pay Rate:

£16.20 per hour for the first 2 hours, then £17.82 per hour

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Transporting goods efficiently between various locations.
2. Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting issues.
3. Providing exceptional customer service.
4. Minimum of 6 months continuous Class 1 driving experience.

Recruitment Process:

The process involves an initial assessment, including classroom and a 2-3 hour driving assessment, followed by a full induction.
