Job Description:

Willand HGV Class 2 (LGV Cat C) Day Drivers required paying £34,598.40 per year. This position will become permanent after a successful trial period is complete. Extensive two weeks' worth of training provided . Duties include Dray deliveries with a Drivers mate to businesses across the South West, working for one of the leading, historic brewers of lagers, ales, and craft beers in the UK.

Pay Rates:

• Weekly pay of £665.35.
• Annual salary of £34,598.40.
• Salary is based on a guaranteed 48 paid hours per week.
• Bank holidays paid at double time for 9.6 hours minimum.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday 04:30 - 06:30 starts.

Duties:

• Dray deliveries with a Drivers Mate delivering stock to customers across the South West.
• Driving a range of vehicles from 3.5T vans up to 26T trucks.
• Heavy lifting & manual handling is an essential part of the role. Full training will be provided during induction.
• Working closely with the Driver’s Mate and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• High attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of stock.
• Working to a busy schedule with tight time window deliveries.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Experience and Key Attributes:

• Minimum of one year’s driving experience (preferred).
• Clear understanding of the Drivers Hours & Working Time Regulations.
• Building working relationships with your customers delivering excellent customer service,
• Knowledge of the South West would be a huge advantage
