LGV C+E Drivers (HGV Class 1) - based Tamworth

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) with a basic salary of £41,084 on a 48-hour week, plus shift premium.

Shift patterns available: Any 5 from 7

Location: Tamworth B78 3HJ

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your duties, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Have various start times available - days, nights, etc.
• Work shift patterns: Any 5 from 7
• Perform nationwide RDC bay delivery work, backhauls, and supplier collections using curtain-sided trailers
• Drive safely and efficiently, complying with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Adhere to health and safety standards, The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have at least 4 months of LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) 'on the road' commercial driving experience, including curtain-sided trailer experience
• Ideally, have RDC delivery experience
• Reside locally to Tamworth
