LGV C+E Driver with Forklift

Part-time, ADHOC

£17.93 per hour

Exeter

Start date: Immediately

Our client based near Exeter, is looking for an LGV C+E driver with Forklift experience. This role is specialised, it will involve loading and unloading the Forklifts from the LGV C+E Lorry. This will be a Flatbed Lorry with Beavertail. You will be delivering Forklifts across the South West.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid LGV C+E licence


• Valid CPC and digital tachograph cards


• Forklift experience essential, valid certificate would be beneficial


• Experience driving Flatbed Lorries with Beavertails


• More than 12 months LGV C+E driving experience due to insurance restrictions


• No more than 3 penalty points on your licence due to insurance restrictions

Your Responsibilities:

• Delivering commercial Forklifts and Lifting Equipment safely and efficiently around the South West


• Operating a flatbed Arctic Lorry with Beavertail


• Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with safety regulations


• Assisting with forklift operations as needed


• Covering holiday and sickness absences for other drivers, ensuring smooth operations

What We Offer:

• Initially adhoc shifts covering holiday and sickness, the client is due to increase its LGV fleet which could lead to a full-time permanent position for the right candidate


• 07:00 am start, job till finish


• Pay rate is £16.00 per hour plus £1.93 per hour holiday pay totalling £17.93 per hour on PAYE Advanced
