Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking an LGV driver for our Erith site who will deliver and collect products across regional sites. You will work a flexible pattern including nights and weekends, with a minimum 32 hours and potential longer days as routes are assigned.

You will hold a Category C+E licence, have up to 6 penalty points, and a minimum 12 months driving experience. LGV experience is preferred but not mandatory, with safety as a priority.

• Minimum of 12 months experience on your driving licence.
• Desirable to have a minimum of 6 months LGV experience.

Job Description

The Best HGV job you will ever do! Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) drivers will undertake delivery and collection of products to and from a variety of locations in line with all company policies and procedures. You will be required to work a flexible shift pattern consisting of nights, late and early shifts including weekends. Your minimum contracted hours will be 32 hours, however routes are assigned up to 12.5 hours per day, as such you will regularly be expected to carry out additional hours. This role is based at our Erith site, Church Manorway, London DA8 1DL. Day-to-day you will collect shopping from our state-of-the-art warehouses and take it to our smaller regional sites. No multi drops or hidden lanes.

What do we need from you?

A passion for driving and all things trucks and lorries, along with the following driving licence requirements:

• A category C+E driving licence
• A maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years
• Minimum of 12 months experience on your driving licence
• Desirable to have a minimum of 6 months LGV experience

Pay Structure

Pay Structure: This position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule.
