Job summary

Biffa Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an LGV Driver on the PM shift, Monday to Friday, with start/finish times 15.00 to 00.30. Earn £16.87 per hour plus Back Shift Allowance and overtime.

You will drive various LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins from trade waste customers, and work outdoors using your own initiative.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive various LGV vehicles including front and back loaders.
