Location: Aberdeen Depot

Salary: £36,205 + meal allowance (£5 per day) + £1k retention bonus

Start Time: 15:00

Shift: Monday to Friday (48 hrs)

The role of a LGV Driver involves collecting and emptying food waste wheelie bins on a multi-collection basis.

This is a physically demanding role requiring early starts, outdoor work in all weather conditions, and the use of your own initiative. It offers a chance to make a positive impact on the environment and local communities.

Duties:

1. Multi-collections of food waste wheelie bins
2. Providing excellent customer service
3. Covering weekend work where applicable
4. Performing additional duties as necessary

Key Skills & Experience:

1. Class C Licence holder
2. Valid Digital Tachograph
3. Valid DQCPC Card
4. Proven record of safe and efficient driving
5. Ability to take ownership of tasks, prioritize, and see them through to completion
6. Good problem-solving skills
7. Good geographical knowledge
8. Strong teamwork spirit
