Job summary

Biffa is seeking an LGV Driver Loader on a fixed-term contract covering absence at our St Leonards depot. The role runs Monday to Friday, 6.30am–3.30pm, with pay of £16.67 per hour.

You will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collect and empty bins and assist with street cleansing tasks outdoors, using your initiative to help keep the local environment tidy. The role offers on-the-job training, access to Biffa Perkz discounts, and family-friendly policies, with a rewarding daily routine

Qualifications

• Experience driving LGV waste collection vehicles.
• Able to lead teams and work outdoors.
• Reliable and capable of working with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles and collect/empty bins, boxes and bags from households.
• Carry out street cleansing tasks such as sweeping and litter picking.

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags* from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking..
