Job summary

Biffa Group in Abingdon is seeking an LGV Driver Loader for Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, with start times 05:30 and finish 15:00. Pay is £19.87 per hour (£43,912 per year). You will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collect and empty bins, boxes and bags from households and take part in street cleansing tasks.

This role suits someone who can work with initiative, lead teams, and enjoy outdoor work, making a positive impact on local environments and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience driving LGV vehicles and performing waste collection tasks.
• Ability to lead a small team and work with initiative.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles to collect and empty bins, boxes and bags from households.
• Carry out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
• Lead a crew, coordinating tasks and ensuring safety and efficiency.
