• Class 2 driving license is required.
• Knowledge of digital tachographs is essential.
• Driver CPC certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles collecting and emptying bins.
• Conduct street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
• Work as part of a crew and support local environmental initiatives.

Job description

LGV 2 Driver

Pay Rate: £16.72 p/h Plus Hourly Bonus

Monday to Friday, (45hrs)

Shift: 06:45 - 16:15

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags* from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.

This is a physically demanding role, and you’ll need to be comfortable with early starts in the morning and happy working outside all year round and in all weathers. This is a great job if you like to work using your own initiative and leading teams, in the outdoors, carrying out a role where you can make a difference to the local environment and communities.
