Job summary

Biffa is hiring an LGV Driver Loader at Stamp End Depot. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a start time of 06:15 and finish at 15:00. Weekend overtime is available. The role includes driving waste-collection vehicles and performing street cleansing tasks across local communities.

You will join a crew, taking initiative and sometimes leading teams, with pay at £14.50 per hour and benefits like in-house training and perks from Biffa Perkz. A positive, outdoors-oriented mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• LGV licence with clean driving record (no more than 6 points).
• Ability to work outdoors and follow safety protocols.
• Willingness to lead small teams and coordinate activity.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins and boxes from households.
• Carry out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
• Work as part of a crew, using initiative to manage tasks and support team leads.
