Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 driving license.
• Digital tachograph knowledge is required.
• Driver CPC would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles.
• Collect and empty bins, boxes, and bags from householders.
• Conduct street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.

Job description

LGV 2 Driver (mainly trade waste cover)

Pay Rate: £15.74 p/h, plus productivity bonus.

AM shift - Monday to Friday, (45hrs per week)

5.00AM - 2.30PM

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags* from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.

This is a physically demanding role, and you’ll need to be comfortable with early starts in the morning and happy working outside all year round and in all weathers. This is a great job if you like to work using your own initiative and leading teams, in the outdoors, carrying out a role where you can make a difference to the local environment and communities.
