Job summary

Biffa is hiring an LGV Driver Loader to operate our waste collection fleet, Monday to Friday, 05:30–15:00. You will drive LGV vehicles, collect household rubbish, and contribute to street cleansing duties across communities.

You will be part of a crew, taking initiative and sometimes leading teammates while working outdoors to keep our towns clean and well-presented. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience driving LGV waste collection vehicles.
• Ability to lead teams in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles and collect bins, boxes and bags from householders.
• Carry out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
• Lead teams to work efficiently and safely outdoors.

LGV Driver Loader
Days of work: Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week
Start and finish times: 05.30 to 15.00

Pay : £19.87p/h Salary £43,912

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
