Job summary

Biffa is hiring an LGV Driver Loader to join our outdoor waste collection crew in Abingdon. You will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collect and empty bins, boxes and bags from households, and contribute to street cleansing activities as required.

This role runs Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, with start times 05:30 to 15:00. The ideal candidate works with initiative and can lead teams in the field.

Qualifications

• LGV driving licence preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles and collect household waste, bins, boxes and bags.
• Assist with street cleansing tasks and supervise team in the field.

Days of work: Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week

Start and finish times: 05.30 to 15.00

Pay : £19.87p/h Salary £43,912

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
