Base pay range

Salary: £34,602 per annum

We are looking for an Expanded Senior Production Coordinator who, working closely with the LFF Expanded Production Manager, Festivals Production Team and LFF Expanded Programmer, will support on the delivery of the festival’s public programme XR, Immersive Art and Videogames installations.

BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with artists on the technical specifications of works, including build specifications and file delivery. Ensuring works are presented to the highest of standards, taking consideration for any special requirements and ensuring these are communicated and factored into the overall design of installations
  • Working with the LFF Expanded Production Manager, Festival Production Teams, LFF Expanded Programmer, and Production partners on the design, build and launch of the physical installations. Carrying out research for possible production solutions, where required
  • Overseeing technical testing and sign-off of digital and physical access points, ensuring solutions are technically sound and any issues are resolved promptly by the technical production support team
  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of the festival’s UK-wide programme access points, as required, including installation specifications, artist communications and briefing marketing requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Significant experience working in a cultural organisation or festival in a events or production role, including demonstrable experience of working with XR, immersive technologies, and/or videogames.
  • Sound knowledge of XR and videogames technologies, file formats and devices
  • A passion for and working knowledge of storytelling through immersive technology and videogames.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage and meet challenging deadlines
