Care Assistant – Lewisham & Southwark

Location: Lewisham & Southwark

Contract type: Care Delivery

Hourly rate: £14.90 – £15.70 (pre‑probation £14.90 – £15.00; post‑probation £15.05 – £15.70); Tax‑free mileage 35p per mile.

What You’ll Do

Work in the community providing essential support with everyday tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication support and companionship. Receive comprehensive training, paid shadowing, ongoing support while completing the Care Certificate, ensuring you feel confident and valued in your role.

What We’re Looking For

• Kind, dependable healthcare assistants who genuinely care about improving the quality of life for vulnerable adults and are fully committed to delivering high‑quality care.
• Live in or within a reasonable commute of Lewisham & Southwark and have access to a car that can be used for work purposes.
• Have a driver licence and be a valid driver.
• For visa holders: must already be sponsored and based in the local area along with visa transfer acceptance.
