We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading international financial institution, renowned for its prominent sales and trading teams globally. As part of their 2025 expansion plans in Europe, they aim to further develop their fixed income and credit trading platform in London. This leading fixed income group operates alongside other key capital markets teams (equities, DCM, etc.) and investment banking divisions (M&A, debt advisory, etc.).

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a driven individual to join their London-based fixed income and credit trading team as a Vice President or Director-level trader. The focus will be on:

1. Pricing and executing trades across bonds and loans
2. Trading in GBP, USD, and EUR high yield, stressed, distressed bonds, par, and leveraged loans
3. Liaising with credit research and sales teams, as well as global trading colleagues
4. Collaborating with the bank's institutional sales force to expand the desk’s institutional and hedge fund client base
5. Pricing, distributing axes, and calculating P&L
