A healthcare provider in the UK is offering a training position for a B5 Diagnostic Radiographer. This is a training post offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a supported learning environment in TSDFT Radiology Department. This is a 3-year degree apprenticeship working towards qualification as a B5 Diagnostic Radiographer.
The successful candidate will be supervised when carrying out all clinical activity through the course of the degree apprenticeship. Key responsibilities include:
As a trainee, you will progress towards providing high quality diagnostic imaging under supervision within the required scope of practice in any of the TSDFT sites. You will work within all mandated Regulatory guidelines and comply with all Trust and Departmental Policies Protocols and Guidelines, ensuring high quality, safe working practices in a safe working environment.
On successful qualification, the post holder will supervise and advise trainees and students, and be responsible for maintaining their registration. The successful candidate will work in the Main X-ray Department of Torbay Hospital, with the BSc Degree course provided by the University of Exeter.

This contract of employment is intended to apply alongside the TSDFT Apprenticeship Radiographer Degree Agreement. The pay for this role is: Year 1 - Bottom of band 3, Year 2 - Top of band 3, Year 3 - Bottom of band 4, and Band 5 once qualified and HCPC registration obtained.
