Job summary

Swansway Motor Group in Wrexham is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician (Level 3) to join our VW dealership. You will perform light vehicle maintenance, routine service and inspections, and work closely with the Workshop Controller to deliver high-quality repairs.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a similar role, strong communication skills, a valid driving licence, and a passion for automotive service in a franchised environment.

Qualifications

• L3 qualification in vehicle service and repair.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within a franchised dealership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical information clearly.
• A valid driving licence for flexible engagement in various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine service works and pre-delivery inspections in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Collaborating with the Workshop Controller to systematically work through assigned tasks.
• Communicating effectively with the front of house Service Advisor team to notify customers of any additional necessary repairs.
• Utilising diagnostic equipment to check service quality and perform road tests.
• Accurately completing all relevant service documentation and job cards, adhering to dealership and warranty requirements.
