Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Ref: SBMAT296)

Fixed Term to 31 August 2026

Term Time Only – 30 hours per week

Grade 4 (Spine Point 7-11)

Salary £25,584 - £27,269 (FTE)

Actual Salary £17,842 - £19,018

What are we looking for:

St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant, to support our children. The successful candidate will be based at Woodfield Primary School.

We are looking for a child-centred practitioner with:

  • proven successful experience of supporting the raising of standards in school within classrooms, small groups of children and working one to one with SEND children.
  • wide experience of working with children in Early Years and Key Stage One, including those with special educational needs and disabilities and the most able children
  • effective experience of supporting children with EHCPs
  • proven experience of a range of positive behaviour management strategies
  • the ability to support, lead and inspire children working either in the classroom or within small, targeted groups
  • experience of leading interventions to meet children’s individual learning targets
  • high expectations of children and a commitment to raising standards
  • excellent interpersonal skills
