Job description

32.5 hours per week, term time plus PD days

An opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant within Southall School. The job involves working across the whole school and with individual students. It is desirable for the Teaching Assistant to have experience of working with children with SEN and complex needs.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Level two numeracy/literacy skills
  • NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
  • An understanding of Child Protection policies
  • Patience and empathy towards pupils
  • Good command of literacy and numeracy

The post is 32.5 hours per week at level 3. Salary range is £12.65 per hour.
