Job summary

Milk Education is seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support primary schools in South Shields. You will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning activities, track pupil progress, and support pupils with SEND and SEMH.

This opportunity offers flexible working opportunities, ongoing CPD through Milk Academy, and a dedicated consultant to guide you. Long-term and permanent positions are available, making a meaningful difference in pupils’ education journeys.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or a related field.
• Have previous experience working within a primary school setting.
• Are confident supporting learning across the primary curriculum.
• Have experience delivering interventions and small group work.
• Are proactive, reliable and passionate about education.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Hold, or are willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
