Job summary

Cover People are recruiting a confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Eccles on a long-term basis. The role combines classroom support with PPA cover, across different year groups, to keep learning engaging and on track.

You will lead pre-planned activities, support pupils with diverse needs, and work closely with teachers and other TAs to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in a primary school setting.
• Confident delivering planned lessons and activities.
• Strong behaviour-management and clear communication skills.

Cover People are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with PPA cover responsibilities to join a primary school in Eccles on a long-term basis.

This varied role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting learning across the primary age range and can take the lead in delivering pre-planned lessons when teachers are undertaking their PPA time.

The successful candidate will combine general classroom support with planned PPA cover, helping pupils remain engaged and ensuring learning continues smoothly throughout the school day.

Working as part of the school's support team, you will provide classroom assistance and take responsibility for delivering planned learning activities during allocated PPA cover.
