Job summary

Walverden Primary School in Nelson, Lancashire, invites applications for two Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team. The posts are 27.5 hours per week, hours to be arranged.

We seek dedicated TAs with experience supporting children, able to support Maths and English, and to contribute to personalised learning with a patient, child-centred approach. DBS and local policy info available with the school.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting Maths and English lessons.
• Friendly and genuine child-centred approach.
• Some knowledge or experience working with children and young people to provide personalised learning experiences.
• Calm, patient and encouraging manner with an ability to make learning engaging.
• Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to maximise learning time.

Responsibilities

• Support Maths and English lessons in small groups or 1:1.
• Contribute to personalised learning experiences for pupils.
• Be self-motivated and help maximise children's learning time.
