Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1 from September 2026 in a supportive primary school's Year 1 and 2 classrooms.

You will deliver interventions in Reading, Phonics, Writing and Maths, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and help prepare engaging learning resources while promoting positive pupil behaviour and teamwork with teachers and support staff.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent
• Recent UK primary school experience within the last 2 years
• Strong understanding of KS1 National Curriculum
• Experience delivering intervention programmes
• Confident supporting pupils of varying abilities

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms

Aspire People are recruiting on behalf of a supportive primary school looking to appoint an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within Key Stage 1 from September 2026.

The school is seeking someone with excellent curriculum knowledge who can confidently support whole-class learning, deliver interventions, and work alongside teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential.

Role

• Supporting pupils across Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms
