Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team in Croydon. The Level 3 Teaching Assistant will support the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities and providing individualised support to students. Duties include assisting with lesson planning, preparing materials, supervising students during lessons and break times, and providing feedback on student progress.
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is essential. A valid DBS check is required.
A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths is required. Additional education or training in teaching assistance is desirable.
Previous experience working in a school setting as a teaching assistant is preferred. Experience working with children with special educational needs is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team, patience, and a passion for supporting children's learning and development are necessary. Knowledge of relevant educational policies and procedures is beneficial.
First Aid certification and training in safeguarding children are desirable.
The role involves working in a classroom environment within a school setting. The teaching assistant may need to assist with outdoor activities and accompany students on educational visits.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
