Job summary

Long Term Futures Ltd is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND at a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Walsall.

In this role you will provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support, deliver targeted interventions, and work closely with class teachers to implement individual learning plans. This position starts ASAP, term-time only, with Monday to Friday duties; safeguarding checks including an enhanced DBS will apply.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
• 1:1 and small-group support experience with SEND.
• Ability to adapt activities to individual needs.
• Patient, proactive and relationship-focused.

Long Term Futures is recruiting a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at a welcoming, two-form entry mainstream primary school in Walsall.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys making a difference, building positive relationships and helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.

In this role, you will:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND.
• Support children with needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties and learning challenges.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support academic, social and emotional development.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCO to implement individual learning plans.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence and engagement in learning.
• Help create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.

We're looking for:

• A Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
• Previous experience supporting SEND pupils within a primary school.
• Confident adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Patient, proactive and able to build strong relationships with children and staff.
