Job description

Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Rossendale:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant to join a vibrant school near to Rossendale. This is a full time position to start after Easter.

The Role:

1. Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
2. Maintaining regular communication with the class teacher to monitor progress and EHCPs
3. Building rapport with pupils, parents and staff
4. Communicating with external agencies

Position Details:

• Position: Level 3 TA
• Location: Rossendale
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time only
• Minimum Rate of Pay: £110 per day, depending on experience
• Hours: 8:30am-4pm, Mon-Fri, Term Time only
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

1. Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
2. Level 3 TA qualification is essential
3. Previous experience supporting children with complex needs and PMLD is essential
4. Team Teach training is highly desired

ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

1. Hold Right to Work in the UK
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
