Level 3 Social Worker - Family Support Team

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Level 3 Social Worker within the Family Support Team in Milton Keynes.

The salary for this full-time position is up to £48,428 per annum.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct assessments effectively by engaging with and observing children to identify and record their care needs within designated timescales.
  2. Develop and implement clear childcare plans and interventions tailored to each case.
  3. Manage a complex workload under the supervision of the Team Manager/Deputy Team Manager.
  4. Maintain accurate electronic case records and provide reports as required.
  5. Participate in regular supervisory meetings to monitor progress and identify development needs.
  6. Collaborate with other agencies and services to plan and share information for holistic child care.
  7. Carry out duties in accordance with the Children Act 1989 and subsequent legislation, conducting child-centered assessments and developing care plans to ensure child safety and wellbeing.
  8. Develop, implement, and review family support and children in care plans through regular statutory reviews.
  9. Stay informed about policy, legislation, and professional practice developments, using reflection and other tools to improve practice.
  10. Contribute to staff meetings and team development activities.
Requirements:
  • A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration.
