Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across primary and secondary schools in South Yorkshire, including Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster.

As a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant you will work with pupils with ASC, ADHD, SLCN, SEMH and learning difficulties, delivering tailored support to help students access learning, build confidence and thrive in school environments.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
• Patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for SEN pupils.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual student needs.
• Support students with emotional regulation and social development.
• Foster positive relationships and encourage pupil engagement.
• Assist with the implementation of EHCPs.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
