Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. Blackburn is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Blackburn, supporting children with high additional needs in a full-time, long-term SEN setting.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SEN team, provide 1:1 and small group support, and help pupils access learning, manage emotions, and develop life skills in a nurturing environment.

Are you a compassionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs?

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Blackburn, working full time within a specialist SEN classroom. This rewarding role involves supporting children with high additional needs, helping them access learning, develop key life skills, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.

  • Supporting pupils with a range of complex SEN needs.
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team.
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support.
  • Assisting with communication, emotional regulation, and personal development.

  • Creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
