Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Group is seeking a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner for our Barnt Green nursery. You will create a warm, nurturing environment and deliver EYFS-aligned activities to support children's development.

We offer DBS checks, a supportive team, and opportunities for professional growth. The role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification or QTS, and sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
• Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.

Pay: £27,476.80 - £27,476.80 per Annum.based on experience (40 hours per week).
Working Hours:Monday to Friday - 4 longer days 730-6, with a non working day in the week.

With five rooms light and spacious rooms and access to three outdoor spaces, children have ample room to learn and develop. Our intimate size sets us apart and created our unique ethos. Barnt Green is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Birmingham city centre and a short 5-minute walk from Barnt Green train station. There is ample parking across the road for your convenience.
