Job summary

Willing Recruitment is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a vibrant nursery committed to learning through play. You will deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS, plan engaging activities, and build strong relationships with children and families.

Role entails observing progress, using bright indoor/outdoor spaces effectively, and promoting confidence, independence, and essential life skills in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in an early years setting.
• Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• Warm, caring and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development through play.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Plan and provide engaging play-based activities that support each child's development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support learning journeys.
• Utilise the nursery's bright learning environments, soft play area, and outdoor spaces for learning opportunities.
• Support children in developing confidence, independence, and key life skills.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment; follow safeguarding and health & safety policies.
