Job summary

School Staffing Solutions is supporting a Day Nursery near Leatherhead, Surrey. We are looking to recruit two qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join this friendly and well-established nursery.

The role involves providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children, planning engaging activities, and supporting development in line with EYFS. This is a permanent role with a four-day week and one weekday off.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
• Experience in a nursery setting is necessary.
• Understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements is essential.
• Caring, reliable and enthusiastic attitude is expected.
• Works well within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Support children's development in line with EYFS.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.
• Complete observations and contribute to children's learning records.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies.
