Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Plymouth and the surrounding areas are seeking caring Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our welcoming teams. This role offers flexible opportunities across local nurseries, with short-term, long-term, and permanent positions available.

You will support children aged 0-5 with their learning, create a safe, engaging environment, deliver age-appropriate activities, and work closely with families and colleagues while complying with safeguarding and EYFS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an Early Years or Nursery setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
• Positive, caring, and professional approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 0-5 with their learning and development.
• Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.
• Deliver and support fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding and nursery policies at all times.
