Job description

Early Steps Daycare is a newly established, nurturing nursery setting dedicated to providing exceptional care and education to children aged 2–5 years. We pride ourselves on creating a child-centred, engaging, and creative environment where children can thrive, grow, and prepare for a successful transition into primary education.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our passionate team.

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
  • Full time (40 hours per week)
  • 5 days per week
  • 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm
  • Permanent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working within Childcare
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate age-appropriate and stimulating activities for children aged 9 months to 5 years.
  • Observe, record, and assess children's development and learning progress.
  • Build strong and positive relationships with parents/carers and maintain open communication.
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and hygiene of all children in your care.
  • Uphold safeguarding, child protection and health & safety procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the wider nursery team.
