Nursery Nurse
Tunbridge Wells Fitness and Wellbeing Gym | Permanent | Part Time

Up to £26,402.38 pro rata

25 hours per week

Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking an Early Years Educator to be based at our nursery located within our Nuffield Health gym.

As an Early Years Educator, you will be part of a team offering full-day care, sessional care, and a Pre-School for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.

Joining us as an Early Years Educator, you’ll provide care and education while promoting health and helping children achieve the best possible start in life. We are Ofsted registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. We offer a unique range of wellbeing-focused care for children, including swimming lessons for children over 3, making this a truly unique opportunity.

If you take pride in a job well done, joining us as an Early Years Educator will give you the chance to learn and grow by working with some of the best. You must be qualified to at least Level 3 in childcare studies and have experience to NVQ Level 3 or NNEB. Your passion for teaching and making a difference will make you a great fit with us.

Responsibilities of an Early Years Educator:

2. Help children achieve the best possible start in life.
3. Support nursery educators in implementing the EYFS curriculum.
4. Ensure learning is linked to the child’s development.
5. Plan age-appropriate activities.
6. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals.

Our Ideal Early Years Educator:

1. Will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in childcare studies or equivalent.
2. Have experience in a nursery setting.
3. Possess paediatric first aid qualifications (preferred).
4. Will require an enhanced DBS check.
