Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join Kiddies Cabin Day Nursery in Reading. You will care for children aged 6 months to reception, deliver EYFS activities, and support development with parents and the nursery team.

NVQ3 in childcare is required; paediatric first aid is preferred. You will work shifts 7.30am–3.30pm, 8am–4pm, or 9am–5pm, in a supportive, inclusive environment with ample learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate (CPD)

Responsabilités

• Encouraging all areas of the children's development within EYFS with appropriate activities and play
• Compiling and maintaining development records on children and reporting to the Team Leader
• Providing a stimulating, friendly and caring environment at all times
• Demonstrating good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion, working with the nursery and area SENCO
• Being a key carer and building relationships with a small group of children and their families
• Working with EYFS and other professional teams to improve the quality of childcare and education
